The iPhone XS Max is a peculiar device - while it has dropped in price in secondary markets, the used iPhone 11 and other newer devices tend to still be a better value due to their sales volume, and the fact you'd be paying marginally more for a better phone. With that said, the 2018 release does stand out due to its 512GB storage option as well as timeless functionality and also the fact it refuses to be deprecated by Apple.
